With its entirely new Mozilla-based architecture, Version 6 provides more flexibility; you can save or export your documents in multiple formats according to your publication and portability needs. Scientific WorkPlace 6 continues to be a front-end for the LaTeX typesetting program which is used to typeset complex technical documents.

These are both current versions – you may choose between the new v6.0 and the mature (and very popular) v5.5. Download either or both of the programs here: For version 6.0: Please download and follow the, entering your 30-day serial number (above) at Step 6. You can import documents from previous versions using File – ImportTeX (rather than File – Open). For version 5.5: Please download and follow the, entering your 30-day serial number (above) at Step 3. Omit the steps relating to the British English dictionary (Steps 6 & 9-11). Registering (Steps 4-5 & 7-8) at the end of the installation converts the Viewer version into a full working system: if you skip this step your Scientific WorkPlace system won't work. This trial includes 30 days' complimentary access to our – please if you have any problems installing and registering/activating according to the installation instructions, and a human will respond promptly.
