As for choosing the option to save to a USB, I can't reinforce this point enough: I had NO OPTIONS PROVIDED TO ME re that last step of generating an Authorization Number. The little window where it's supposed to have appeared remained blank, both on my Win 7 system and on my Win 8.1 laptop. I truly suspect it has to do with Microsoft Security Essentials or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (even though I switched them off and ripped them out of the running systems list).
